Palawan needs your vote!

We have recently visited Puerto Princesa and the city was so great. It have been under the management of Mayor Hagedorn for almost 13years and they have zero percent crime rate. Amazing indeed. They also have a strict policy regarding littering and smoking. The people are really disciplined, I wished that people in Metro Manila would adopt the same behavior. At night we roam around the city by ourselves and I feel secure about the place.


Puerto Princesa has a lot to offer, you can tour around the city and see the nature up close. Among the famous landmark here is the Underground River, which is included in the UNESCO list of natural world heritage sites. It is an 8.2km long underground river which showcases the beautiful formation of limestone, stalactites and stalagmites. 

Currently the Underground River is declared as an official finalist to the search of the new 7 wonders of nature. Let us support our country by voting in the new 7 wonders of nature. It's just a click away, do not deny our country the prestige it can get by just voting. Wouldn't you be proud by housing one of the 7 wonders of nature?


Puerto Princesa is really rich in natural resources. Mountains, Limestone and White Beaches are scattered all over the boundaries of Puerto Princesa City. This natural resources are the real treasure of our country, but there are people who wants to destroy it by extracting this natural resources.

Quarrying and Mining would destroy the beauty of Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Let us preserve the beauty of Puerto Princesa, let us save what we have for future generations. We can help by signing and supporting the petition "NO TO MINING IN PALAWAN". Just sign up online and spread the word. Post it on your facebook account, email it to your colleagues and just talk about it! 


A lot of us have spare time to check our emails, our favorite site and most of the time you just can't even miss to check your facebook account, signing up and paying your support will only take a minute or two. But it is priceless prestige if we have helped our Underground River to be chosen as the new 7 wonders of nature and the difference you can make by just supporting the No to Mining in Palawan Campaign.

    would love to go to palawan, pero matagal pa un... wait ko muna ung time na maging isang employee ako... hehe... great you have visited 2 of my dream destinations in pinas - palawan and bohol :)

    hi miss tina, i voted for NO MINING IN PALAWAN to save this kind of Philippine treasure. Been here last 2008, unfortunately I lost my camera and cellphone on my way home (stupid me) that's why I don't have any picture of this place, and just now i learned on how to Blog. Nice Pictures i must say.. :)))))
